About the Music in Plymouth 5k
Are you a runner? A walker? Just enjoy being outside in the summer in Minnesota?
The 14th Annual Music in Plymouth 5K Fun Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 - start time 8am. This is a fast-paced, established event in the heart of Plymouth and all proceeds go to support the Plymouth Civic League's presentation of Music in Plymouth.
The 5K course begins at the Hilde Performance Center at 3450 Plymouth Blvd., Plymouth, MN and winds through beautifully maintained park trails. Drawing participants from the community and around the nation, the race has attracted a loyal following in the last eleven years. Racers and families are equally welcome and medals are awarded to the first place finishers (male and female) in five age categories. Refreshments and wellness activities available at the finish line. The entry fee includes a tee-shirt, race goodie bag, refreshments and entry into prize drawings. All proceeds go to support the production of Music in Plymouth. Strollers are welcome; no in-line skates or dogs, please. Registration forms are available at the Plymouth Park & Recreation desk and area running stores in April. Registration forms must be postmarked by June 19, 2010.
